General
In general, my policy
is to do everything I can to make my customers happy while at the same time
not being a victim myself of scammers and dishonest people.
Returns
I will handle returns
on a case by case basis. All merchandise is inspected before shipment.
it is the responsibility of the purchaser to inspect packages received and
to pursue remedial action from the carrier when there is damage to the
packaging which would obviously be from shipping mishandling.
No item may be returned
without a return authorization from Jacobs Online. Returns that are
approved must be returned at the purchaser's expense and original shipping
charges will not be refunded. Returned merchandise must be in the
original packaging and in original condition. A 20% restocking fee
will be charged.
Cancellations
I will be glad to
cancel any order with no charge as long as the item has not been shipped.
Since I also try to get orders out the same day they are received, there is
usually a very limited window of opportunity to cancel orders. Any
order shipped cannot be cancelled and will be treated as a return per the
above section.
Pricing
I spend an enormous
amount of time looking for suppliers that offer products at the best
prices. I always appreciate any suggestions of suppliers
(wholesalers/manufacturers) that you know offer lower prices. Price
increases are a way of life and when a supplier raises my prices, I am
forced to pass them on. So I reserve the right to change prices
without notice. However, if items or ordered after a price increase
but before I can change them on the web site, the purchaser will be
notified to verify the item is still wanted at the new price.
Suggestions
I am always open to
suggestions on how to improve the web site, my service, products to carry,
etc. Just send me an email and I will give any suggestion serious
consideration if it is within my power, means and ability.
